ABOUT

From sweeping grandiosity to quirky familiarity, Grant brings the story to life through memorable melodies and sculpted motifs. From shaping the galaxy of the actual-play D&D series No Quest For The Wicked and bringing to life true stories in Dark Side Of The Cage, to crafting unsettling ambience for horror in With Every Broken Breath: “Working with Grant is a joy because he’s just as interested in the emotional beats of your project as he is in crafting a final composition you’ll both be proud of”.
During his studies at the University of Toronto, Grant was awarded with ‘Best Sound & Music’ at the FEEDBACK Animation, Film & Screenplay Festival for his work on Between Wings and Swings, and selected to have his music performed by the Grenadier String Quartet. With a deep understanding of cognitive auditory neuroscience and psychoacoustics, Grant uses foley and modular synthesis to give unique sounds tailored to his clients, from video games to other composers.
Whether it’s working together to create something new, or passing along intel of books that belong in his backpack, Grant welcomes any chance to share stories.
